Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw denied making a serious threat against Tucker Carlson after a viral video appeared to capture him saying he would "f***ing kill" the former Fox News host if they ever met.

On Monday, a hot mic after a GB News interview captured Crenshaw saying he would "f***ing kill" Carlson if they ever met, adding that he was not joking. The clip was quickly deleted after being posted online, but continued to be widely circulated by MAGA supporters and right-wing commentators.

After the clip went viral, Elon Musk interjected, questioning Crenshaw's "homicidal" remarks, while Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene asked whether he had really threatened Carlson.

Crenshaw dismissed the controversy with a simple "lol, no" response on X, but journalist Steven Edginton, who conducted the interview, insisted Crenshaw was serious. Carlson responded by inviting Crenshaw to a face-to-face interview to address their differences.

Crenshaw and Carlson have a long history of public feuding, largely centered on foreign policy. Carlson has mocked Crenshaw's support for Ukraine, while Crenshaw has accused Carlson of siding with Russia, Forbes reported.

Their disputes have turned personal, with Carlson previously referring to Crenshaw as "Eyepatch McCain," a jab at his war injury, and Crenshaw firing back by calling him a "cowardly, know-nothing elitist."
