Dan Campbell’s passionate (and kinda weird) speech after a preseason loss had NFL fans fired up

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell is becoming a star in this year’s edition of Hard Knocks on HBO and his passionate speech in the latest episode is only making him more popular with NFL fans.

Following the Lions’ Week 1 preseason loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Campbell stood in front of his team and sent a message to his guys about how they are close to doing special things if they can just eliminate mistakes that led to their loss.

At the end of his speech he shook out some pants that had dirt on them and shook them off while telling his guys they need to rid themselves of their mistakes.

Or something like that. I kinda got lost toward the end of it.

Here’s the video of it.

Again, I don’t get the pants thing but NFL fans loved it.
