It’s the least surprising development from Hard Knocks, but that doesn’t make it less entertaining: Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell saying something weird.
We’ve heard it before: Apex predator analogies. The “no turds” speech. The infamous “bite a kneecap” talk. Heck, this is all NFL fans could talk about when they heard Campbell’s Lions would be featured this year.
And in the very first episode that aired Tuesday night on HBO, Campbell gave us a speech that was hilarious and confusing and somehow very motivational.
“It doesn’t matter if you have one [butt] cheek and three toes, I will beat your [butt],” he said.
