Dan Burn is wary of Manchester City's possession game ahead of Newcastle United's latest test in the Premier League. The £13million January signing and his team-mates will be tasked with trying to halt City's title bid but knows Pep Guardiola's side are more than capable of making it a long afternoon - despite their pain in Madrid this week.
Burn made a good account of himself against Liverpool, winning a host of aerial challenges, yet needs no reminding of the tough mission in Manchester today.
When asked the difference between City and the Reds, Burn replied: "The difference with City is that they can demoralise you by keeping the ball constantly and you could probably not touch it for 90 minutes. But you still think you might have a chance against Liverpool by the speed at which they counter, this is probably the big difference between the two teams."

United are still at the start of what fans will be a long journey with Man City often spoken about as a model to follow. The Citizens were taken over in 2008 in a different Middle East purchase. They took three years to win their first trophy in the FA Cup and four years to lift the title.
They are yet to win the Champions League or any European silverware. But Burn hopes Newcastle can one day catch City.
He said: "That's the plan [to close the gap], it just depends how quickly we can do that. Obviously, Liverpool and City have been building for a number of years to get to that level and it's where we want to be so hopefully we can keep moving in the right direction and try and get in and around them."
