American poker player and businessman Dan Bilzerian alleged that somebody stole his $1m watch from his wrist during Saturday’s Canelo Alvarez boxing match.

Bilzerian was wearing a Richard Mille watch, which has a whopping value of $950,000 and $1 million, to the Las Vegas fight. Amid the events that evening, he noticed that his high-value watch had disappeared from his wrist.

In conversation with TMZ, Bilzerian revealed that he had been snapping photos with fans while walking towards the ring. Given its slight weight and lack of a locked clasp, he believes the carbon fibre watch may have been snatched during the frenzy.

Bilzerian reportedly filed a police report soon after the fight concluded, and he is now offering a $50,000 prize to anyone who can help him recover his watch.

Law enforcement sources also told TMZ that authorities took a larceny report and that an investigation into the suspected crime is currently underway.

Unfortunately, Bilzerian did not have the watch insured when the incident occurred. The venue could not obtain any video footage from the walkout area, where Bilzerian believes the watch was stolen.

He is known for highlighting his life of luxury on social media, gaining a following for his eccentric Instagram postings over time.

He was among boxing legend Mike Tyson and a handful of celebrities who attended the event. Alvarez won the fight against Caleb Plant by knock-out in the 11th round (97-93, 96-94, 98-92).

Regardless, Bilzerian is optimistic that the reward money may entice someone to come forward with evidence of when he was surrounded by others, with the possibility that the alleged thief was caught red-handed.
