On a recent Instagram Live session put together to respond to comments made by Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes on the “Courtside Heat” podcast about his future with the Portland Trail Blazers, Damian Lillard found himself getting some fun poked at him by Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum for his stance on not wanting to be dealt to the Celtics.
Tatum expressed amusement at Lillard’s seemingly anti-Boston stance. While the Blazers star reportedly considered teams such as the Miami Heat as a potential destination, Boston was not among his preferred choices.
The confirmation of Lillard’s lack of interest in joining the Celtics from the man himself might have crushed some fans hopes for such a deal becoming reality, but it was likely a long shot even if the Portland star wanted to be dealt to Boston.
