Dame Mary Berry's brand-new cookware range set to boost her £20 million fortune

She may be 87 years old but Dame Mary Berry is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to expanding her cookery kit empire.

The kitchen guru says she’s “delighted” by the launch of her first full range, which was released in time for Christmas and consists of every piece of equipment any cook would ever need.

The veteran star is already a multi-millionaire thanks to more than 80 cookbooks and many TV shows, but she’s not stopping there.

Having successfully released two tableware collections since 2020, she has now followed up with At Home, which ranges from a £5 spatula to a £75 casserole dish.

It also includes cake tins, graters, spoons, chopping boards, piping bags, bowls, peelers, garlic-crushers, rolling pins and mashers - in fact, every utensil imaginable.

Writing about the new products on social media this week, Mary said they were everything you’d need to cook along with her from home.

Describing them as 'guaranteed to create fool-proof bakes' she declared: “I am delighted to have launched my stunning ‘At Home’ collection alongside my existing ‘Signature’ and ‘English Garden’ collections.”

She said the "superior bakeware" was designed to ensure great results, promising: "You will have the ability to create those show-stoppers every time."

Her remarks were met by an instant clamour from fans wondering if they could get their hands on an apron, pastry cutter or colander.

Jane Laws joked: “My bank manager is shaking his head thinking nooooo - Mary how could you?”

The former Great British Bake Off judge, who lives in a £2.6million home in Henley, Oxon, with husband Paul Hunnings, is reportedly worth £20million.

Last year she had to take time out after breaking her hip in a fall in her garden. But even that didn’t slow her down for long.

Later this month she will be seen on BBC1 fronting Mary Berry’s Ultimate Christmas, flanked by chefs Angela Hartnett and Monica Galetti plus TV presenter Rylan Clark.

She said her aim is to combat “the emotional hardship of lost loved ones, the economic hardship of cooking for large families or a combination of both”.

And next week Mary will be at RHS Wisley in Surrey for her final book signing of the year to promote her latest volume, Cook and Share.
