It’s remarkable the amount of progress Damar Hamlin has made in a week.
On Monday, Hamlin was released from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and has since returned to Buffalo. Just one week after having a cardiac arrest on the field during a game following a tackle, Hamlin has seen remarkable progress in his recovery.
Not only that, Hamlin’s been tweeting up a storm in his NFL absence, as seemingly nothing could stop him from livetweeting the Bills exciting 35-23 win over the Patriots on Sunday. And when Hamlin was released from the hospital, he had nothing but love for his supporters and the hospital staff that worked diligently to care for him.
Headed home to Buffalo today with a lot of love on my heart. 🫶🏾
Watching the world come together around me on Sunday was truly an amazing feeling.
The same love you all have shown me is the same love that I plan to put back into the world n more.
Bigger than football! 🫶🏾

Grateful for the awesome care I received at UCMC. Happy to be back in Buffalo. The docs and nurses at Buffalo General have already made me feel at home! 🏩🫶🏾.

Something like this truly is bigger than football. Congratulations to Hamlin on this next step to a hopefully full recovery!
