Dalvin Cook Shares Eye-Opening Comments About Potentially Playing for Cowboys

After six productive years with the Vikings, running back Dalvin Cook finds himself a free agent. Minnesota cut him on June 9, and the four-time Pro Bowler has spent the past two months looking for a new home.

On Saturday morning, Cook appeared on NFL Live and pitched himself to a glamorous potential suitor—the Cowboys.

“Dallas been right there, [they] just need to turn that page the last few years,” Cook said. “[Tony Pollard] is a great running back, just partnering up with a great running back, a great running mate, it would be good. Hey, I don’t know.”

Cook, 27, is slated to visit the Jets on Sunday.

Dallas, meanwhile, is gearing up for its first season without longtime running back Ezekiel Elliott after releasing him on March 15. Pollard is expected to be the Cowboys’ bell cow a year after running for a career-high 1,007 yards and nine touchdowns.

Preseason play begins for Dallas on Aug. 12 against the Jaguars.
