Could Dalvin Cook become a Jet by the end of the weekend? The former Minnesota Vikings running back is visiting the Jets this weekend and there seems to be momentum toward him signing in New York and joining Aaron Rodgers and the offense.
Cook appeared on “Good Morning Football” Friday, which is set in New York so Cook is already in the area, and was asked by the crew, specifically Jason McCourty, what the odds are that he signs with the Jets during this visit.
“I think they’re pretty high, man,” Cook said. “I think we’re in a position with a team that’s building something special and I want to be a part of something special. I want to add to whatever they’ve got going on.”

Part of that may have been him being on national television and not wanting to embarrass or shoot down the Jets. But if he’s telling the truth, then this weekend really could be the moment. Cook was also reportedly in talks to meet with the Patriots, but there is absolutely a chance Cook doesn’t even make it to that visit.
Cook is still weighing his options, including playing for his hometown Dolphins.
Cook also was asked on @gmfb about the possibility of playing for the #Dolphins, and he said he's "still weighing my options. This thing is not over. Playing in my hometown would mean so much for me … Just a Cinderella story."
Smart. He's playing all the angles. #Jets
