Adventure Cinema will arrive in Midlothian in August 2022, where customers will be hoping to make the most of the light and warm evenings.

It's the first time the company have chosen a Scottish destination, with dozens across the rest of the UK proving to be popular amongst movie lovers.

People attending the event are encouraged to bring their own picnic to take advantage of their surroundings and enjoy the rare opportunity to enjoy their favourite classics whilst basking in the glory of one of Edinburgh's most impressive locations.

As this year will celebrate 50 years of ABBA, fans of Mamma Mia will be encouraged to get up and dance along in a rare opportunity to both sing and dance your heart out whilst being at the flicks.

To capture the whole cinema experience, on-site food and drink options will be available for customers, as well as VIP ticket options which include a sharing size bag of popcorn.

Ben Lovell, Co-Director, Adventure Cinema, comments: "We are so excited to be travelling all over the country to once again put on the UK’s biggest ever outdoor cinema this summer, with an incredible list of films on offer in unique and beautiful locations. For those who love the cinema and great outdoors, we have worked very hard to ensure that these events are safe and lots of fun for everyone."

Tickets for the event start from £14.50 and are available now from the Adventure Cinema website.
