Daisy May Cooper stuns BRIT Awards viewers with sexy display following weight loss

Daisy May Cooper ensured all eyes were on this evening with her sexiest outfit yet.

The comedian, 36, stunned viewers tuned into the BRIT Awards as she appeared on stage to present an award dressed in a saucy ensemble that highlighted her recent weight loss.

As she made jokes about her skimpy leather dress giving the press something to write about, Daisy went on to say she had bumped into the Sugababes in the bathroom - adding how she hasn't seen any bands doing cocaine in the toilets in the toilets yet.

"Poor Mo Gilligan desperately trying to be funny all night and in 10 seconds Daisy May Cooper absolutely steals the show! Unreal #TheBritAwards #TheBrits," one viewer mused on Twitter following the hilarious cameo from Daisy.

One viewer quipped: "So DAISY MAY COOPER has lost loads of weight and is dressing like early 2000s Britney now???!"

"Daisy May Cooper looks fire #Brits2023," yet another Daisy fan gushed on Twitter.

This year, the BRIT Awards took place on a Saturday - the first time the star-studded music ceremony has ever been held over a weekend rather than its usual weeknight slot.

Buzz for this year’s show began last month, mainly thanks to the backlash surrounding the nominations for the Artist of the Year honour and the fact no women were put up for the award.

Fans were outraged to discover the category - won by Adele in 2022 - featured only male acts, with Harry, rapper Central Cee, DJ Fred again, pop singers George Ezra and and Stormzy.

Just 17.6% of artists originally shortlisted last year for Artist of the Year 2023 were women, and included Mabel, Florence and the Machine, Charli XCX, Becky Hill and Rina Sawayama - but none of the talented female stars made the final cut when the final nominations were announced on January 12.

Comedian Mo Gilligan was on hand to host the show once again from the O2 Arena in London, with a whole host of celebrities packing the venue out on Saturday night.

Ahead of the awards, Mo explained how honoured he was to return as the main presenter and looked back on his favourite moments from last year’s show.

"The opening was awesome. How Ed Sheeran came out, people doing backflips and stuff, I was like, ‘Woah, it’s me who’s introducing him - is this really happening?!’" Mo recalled when speaking with Helen Lamont for the official BRITs programme.

"It was quite a ‘ full circle’ thing,’ I remember when he first started on the show [performing Lego House in 2012] James Corden was the host," he continued.

"I was a lot younger then, so yeah. That was a moment I’ll never forget."

Mo went on to share his excitement at the fact the 2023 show will see “tables back in the arena” thanks to past Covid-19 restrictions being lifted.

He explained: "We don’t have to be restrained, and there will be a lot more people in the room, I can move around more, I can chat more, and the lovely people at home can have a bit more chaos!

"I think this year will be hectic!"
