Daisy May Cooper spotted engagement ring shopping in Bristol with new boyfriend

Daisy May Cooper has been pictured window shopping for engagement rings in Bristol with her boyfriend. The This Country star was spotted eyeing up rings at Kemp Jewellers on Union Street with her chef boyfriend, just months after splitting with her husband of two years.

Daisy, 35, who grew up in Cirencester, was papped looking for rings in Bristol city centre with her new beau Ryan Weymouth. It's believed the pair have only been together since the end of last year, but already appear very loved-up.

In pictures published by the Mirror, the couple are seen browsing the local jewellers while holding hands and kissing. One onlooker told the publication: “It was very sweet, they were acting like smitten teenagers. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other. It looked like Daisy ended up finding what she was looking for. She seemed very happy.”

Daisy's shopping trip comes almost a year after the breakdown of her marriage to landscape gardener Will Weston. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, have two children - Pip, three, and one-year-old Jack.

Daisy has been in Bristol recently filming a new comedy drama called Rain Dogs. The West Country actress plays the lead in the series, which will air on BBC.

In the series Daisy plays a writer and single mother Costello Jones, "whose love for her daughter and passionate friendships are thwarted by poverty and prejudice." Her boyfriend Ryan has been spotted on set with her in Bristol, according to reports.

It comes after the comedy star wrapped up filming for another series in Bristol in December, called Am I Being Unreasonable? The series, filmed in Cotham, focuses on two friends whose lives slowly unravel over six episodes.
