Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan’s 'Fresh' is heading to Disney+ next week

Following its premiere at Sundance last month, hit thriller 'Fresh' starring Normal People's Daisy Edgar-Jones and Captain America's Sebastian Stan arrives on Disney+ in the UK next week (March, 4) under the Star banner.

The film follows Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who meets the alluring Steve (Sebastian Stan) at a grocery store and – given her frustration with dating apps – takes a chance and gives him her number.

After their first date, Noa is smitten and accepts Steve’s invitation to a romantic weekend getaway. Only to find that her new paramour has been hiding some unusual appetites.

The movie marks the directorial debut of Mimi Cave and was written by Lauryn Kahn, with Jojo T Gibbs, Charlotte Le Bon, Andrea Bang and Dayo Okeniyi also starring alongside Edgar-Jones and Stan.

Disney+ released the official trailer this week, which you can check out below.

The movie stands at a certified 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has received rave reviews, praising the performances of the two leads, as well as its impressive blend of genres.

Amy Smith from InSession Film wrote: "I am impressed at how Mimi Cave blended the genres and tones to create a thrilling and fun experience. This is one of the easiest recommendations of the Sundance Film Festival line-up this year."

Please note, 'Fresh' has an 18+ age rating on Disney+. Robust parental controls ensure that Disney+ remains a suitable viewing experience for everyone in the family. Subscribers can set access limits on mature content and create PIN-protected profiles alongside the already existing Kids Profiles to give parents and guardians peace of mind.

To stay up to date with the latest releases, you'll need a subscription to Disney+.

It's currently priced at £7.99 a month or £79.90 a year, which saves you 15%.
