The number of cases recorded daily in Bristol has doubled over the last 24 hours, the latest government figures show.

Government figures released this evening (Monday, May 3) show that in the last 24-hour period on record, four people in Bristol city tested positive for the virus.
A chart on the government's website, which logs each daily rise since March 2020, suggests that this is one of the lowest since mid-September - before the second wave of the virus hit.
