Dads can go for free at Knowsley Safari, Gulliver's World and more this Father's Day

Father's Day is just a few days away so there is still plenty of time to plan something special.

Many attractions and restaurants have made it much easier to celebrate by offering huge deals on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18. Whether you're looking for a relaxing meal or family day out, there are many places extending their offers to every adult.

We have rounded-up some of the best attractions and restaurant deals in and around Merseyside this Father's Day weekend, including places where dads can visit for free.

Knowsley Safari Park

After celebrating mums back in March, Knowsley Safari Park has now extended its free offer to dads on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18. Dads can visit the safari park for free when bringing a full-paying child throughout the weekend.

Visitors can use the car-friendly route or travel on a journey around the entire safari aboard the Baboon Bus.

Ma Boyle’s Alehouse and Eatery

For Father's Day, Ma Boyle’s Alehouse and Eatery is offering two courses for just £20. The restaurant, tucked away off Water Street and by St Nick’s church gardens, will treat every dad to a free beer on arrival.

Main meals include pan-fried sea bass with dauphinoise potatoes, mixed greens and white wine sauce and roasted butternut squash, lentils and spinach in a vegan GF puff-pastry parcel, with vegan Parmesan mash and summer greens with gravy. Sunday roasts are available with all the trimmings followed by a choice of desserts.

Gulliver's World

Adults can visit Gulliver's World in Warrington for free this Father's Day weekend when accompanied by at least one full paying child. This special offer also extends to all other Gulliver's World theme parks.

Families can enjoy the park's family rides, shows and attractions.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia is offering two courses for £20 on Father's Day, including their delicious Sunday roasts and selection of main courses. Diners can finish off their Father's Day meal with a vegan brownie, sticky toffee pudding and fruit crumble.

Every dad will receive a free beer on arrival.

Showcase cinemas

Film fans can enjoy new releases such as The Flash, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts, The Little Mermaid, and more at Showcase Cinemas this Father's Day.

Dads and father figures will be able to visit Showcase Cinemas for free on Sunday, June 18. To make sure you don't miss this offer, guests should purchase a family ticket for four people either online or at the box office from their local Showcase Cinema.

Africa Oyé

Africa Oyé is returning to Sefton Park on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 with two days of free music, dance and DJs. The festival is free to enter and will take place from 12.30pm to 9.30pm.

The festival's commitment to being 'free and open to all' means that the Access Tent, British Sign Language on-stage translators and Access Viewing Platform will return for the event. Attendees can enjoy live music, dance, food stalls and traders.

Hungry Horse

If you book online before June 15, dads can enjoy a free pint of Carling or Coors at any Hungry Horse restaurant. This offer extends to bookings between Friday, June 16 and Sunday, June 18.

Frankie and Benny's

Frankie & Benny's is offering free sirloin steaks and beer for dads this Father's Day. The steak dish, which normally costs £19.80, is an 8oz Irish sirloin steak.

However, you will have to be quick as the offer is available for the first 1,000 people to pre-book a meal over Father's Day weekend.
