Tom Parker's widow Kelsey took to Instagram with their adorable children to share a thank you message to their supporters on Father's Day. Kelsey, whose husband Tom tragically passed away in March 17 months after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, said The Wanted singer was 'shining on us today.'
In her sweet video message she cuddled and kissed two-year-old Aurelia and one-year-old Bodhi as the pair joined in her saying 'thank you' and cheerfully greeting her followers by saying 'hi guys.' Kelsey said: "Today will be a hard day for us as a family. But the sun is shining and he's out there shining. Daddy is shining on us today."
Kelsey, who was wearing a Tom Parker charity T-shirt repeated the slogan on the top as she said: "If you're having a bad day just smile it will make you feel better." And she added: "Today we're just going to spend a lovely day together as a family."

And the well-wishes came flooding in. Former Strictly judge Dame Arlene Phillips told her: "You amaze me all the time. A beautiful mum and two darling children with a @tomparkerofficial glint in their eyes. Thinking of you."

They added: "This is so precious. I know you’ll have a wonderful day with your babies regardless and Tom will definitely be with you all through the sunshine Sending so much love xxx"

Tom, who died at the age of 33, was laid to rest in a celebration of life service in April. The star from Bolton, who shot the fame as one-fifth of the Glad You Came and All Time Low boyband The Wanted, shared the news of his diagnosis to fans in October 2020 when Kelsey was pregnant with Bodhi.
Kelsey has been applauded by fans of the band and her followers for sharing an honest and candid account of her grief since losing Tom. Last week she appeared on the ITV chat show Lorraine after Tom's memoir spent two weeks at the top of the Sunday Time's best sellers list.
During the conversation she told host Lorraine Kelly that Aurelia doesn't quite understand that her father has gone. "Whenever she sees her dad, she's like, 'that's my dad!' Kelsey said.
"I've been really honest but she does still talk about him every day and she doesn't quite understand that he's not coming back. So I have to be really blunt to say, 'he's not coming back, that's it, he's dead and he's not coming back'.
"Because she doesn't really understand. Obviously, where the book's out and she's seen him in store, she's a bit like, 'well he's been on tour so is he gonna come back from this?'"
Kelsey continued: "So she's just really confused by it, but then we do talk about him every day. She does ask me every day about him and obviously we have little things around the house of Tom's, so she'll see like his wallet and be like, 'Oh that's daddy's wallet'.
Talking generally about her two children with Tom, who she married in 2018, Kelsey said: "They wake up happy, they wake up in a good mood so then I can't be sad. And he wouldn't us to be sad and mourning. Don't get me wrong, I get my bad days, of course I do.
"At night it is lonely, I am lonely, but this is my life, I have to get on with it." She also added: "I find it hard that I can't text or call him to tell him things. I have lost the love of my life."
