A man with “anger problems” sent a catalogue of abusive, threatening and derogatory messages to the mother of his child.

Vile David Adams sent multiple WhatsApp messages to his ex-partner between May 23 and May 24.

Adams, 35, called her a “pathetic excuse of a mother” and a “disgrace.”

Procurator fiscal depute Karen Yuill told Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday that Adams and his ex split up in December last year.

Ms Yuill explained: “Around 8.10am on May 24, Adam’s ex-partner contacted the accused via WhatsApp to arrange child care for their son.

“The accused replied ‘Gonna you bolt with any more messages about this, I’ll discuss later.’

“The accused then sent a barrage of messages.

“At 8.41am the accused sent a message stating ‘T**s back on display haha you have no shame.’

“Another message stated 'Seriously had to get your t**s out on TikTok, are you really that desperate, have some decency for you and your kid lol.’

“Messages continued with one at 6.52pm stating, ‘FFS, are you having a f*****g laugh, stop taking pics with your t**s out and start being a mother, you’re a disgrace. You’re an actual disgrace. You’re a pathetic excuse of a mother.’

“At 7pm another message stated 'Answer you moron’

“And 15 minutes later the accused sent another message stating, ‘Hello f*****g answer me, stop taking pics of a burst couch, you are pathetic, you’re a s**t mother.’

“The messages continued into the next day with the accused sending a message stating 'You’re as much use as a chocolate fireguard.’

“The complainer blocked the accused and contacted police and he was later traced, and arrested.”

Defence solicitor Ruth Wallace told the court Adams admits he has anger issues and that he is “ashamed and embarrassed by his conduct.”

Ms Wallace added: “He had concerns and there was an argument going on and ultimately these messages were sent.

“He freely admitted he has issues with his anger and he suffers from mental health issues.”

Sheriff Laura Mundell said: “It’s concerning to hear about the circumstances, but your solicitor has made a great mitigation on your behalf and I am minded to call for reports in this case to see what is going on here.”

Sentencing was adjourned for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report.

Adams, of Second Avenue in Clydebank, will return for sentencing on July 29.

We reported in March that the bully told his ex-partner that he wished she suffered a “slow and painful death.”

The couple had been drinking at a pub in Bridge of Weir in December last year, when he fell out with her because she didn’t buy him a drink when he was at the toilet.

Adams then went on to send a catalogue of abusive text messages via WhatsApp spanning over six weeks before she contacted police.
