A self-employed plumber spent an entire day in the lead-up to Christmas travelling up and down Merseyside fixing people's burst pipes for free.
Martin Tsang finished work for Christmas last week but, after spending hours helping a family who had a burst pipe, he decided to offer his services to people across Merseyside for free. On Monday, December 19, he decided to head out and help those who might be suffering from plumbing issues as a result of the extreme weather.
The dad-of-two, who lives in Wallasey, posted on Facebook saying that anyone struggling could ring him and he would try and get around to fix any problems for free. Before he knew it he was receiving hundreds of phone calls and his post was shared more than 1,000 times.

Martin travelled up and down Merseyside, from Wirral to Runcorn and even up to Southport, with the 45-year-old leaving the house at 8am and not getting back until 11pm. Martin was shocked by some of the things he saw, with water coming from the roof all the way down to the ground floor in three homes.
He told the ECHO : "On Friday I went out to help a lady where she had water coming through the ceiling. She couldn't even afford to put her heating on.
"So I put the post up on Facebook on Friday night and I was getting hundreds of phone calls. The post got shared over a thousand times.
"There were houses where water was coming from the roof space right down to the ground floor. These were family homes. There was one in Halton, one in Garston and one in Waterloo."
Martin, owner of A Plumb Job, donated any money that people wanted to pay him to charity. People flooded the comments of his posts to tell Martin what an amazing job he did.
One person said: "So proud we are friends! You are such a kind person Martin and everyone I recommend you to always thanks me afterwards. What a great thing to do for others."
Another commented: "You truly are an amazing man. Thank you for showing such kindness to those in need. Happy Christmas and all the happiness to you and your family."
