Ordering things from budget websites can sometimes be a little bit hit-and-miss, as you never know whether the intended item is going to actually turn up or not. Often random things will be sent rather than what you ordered, and this exact thing happened to a dad and his daughter, who wanted a large toolbox, but got much less than they bargained for.
The man wanted a large green toolbox from AliExpress, and he assumed it would come in tip-top condition with all tools included.
But in a side-splitting twist, he received merely a printed picture of the toolbox he ordered.
The man's daughter posted a video on TikTok of the hilarious ordeal, where it was watched over two million times.
She captioned the video: "When my father gets scammed by AliExpress."
The video shows her laughing to the camera, before showing the piece of paper with a printed photo of the toolbox.
Users were left in hysterics, with some sharing their own similar experiences.
Someone said: "I never trust Aliexpress because they always have super cheap prices for things worth thousands."
Another hilariously joked: "At least they printed it in colour."
One wrote: "My dad bought a drill for 15 dollars and they sent him a sign of the drill!"
Others told of times where totally different things turned up, with one saying they bought a rug, and a mouse pad arrived.
A TikToker said: "The same thing happened to my dad but with a drill and he got a drill printed on a metal plate."
Someone else suggested: "That's why you should always read the reviews, with photos included."
