A dad-of-three has been tragically killed and a community left reeling after his microlight aircraft crashed into a field.
Michael Flynn, a plumber in his 60s, was piloting the plane in County Clare, Ireland, before he lost control on Sunday afternoon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene in Miltown Malbay following the incident at around 4.45pm before firefighters, paramedics and police were dispatched, reports the Irish Mirror.
A death notice said: “Michael Flynn, Kilcorcoran, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, following a tragic accident.
"Beloved husband of Helen and loving father of Aoife & Oisin.”
Clare Councillor Shane Talty said the community will support Michael's heartbroken family, who are being comforted by relatives and friends.

"It's difficult news breaking in Miltown Malbay yesterday evening.
"Our thoughts of all of us in north Clare are with the family of the gentleman. It's terrible news. A husband, a father, a hardworking community man.
"Our thoughts are with his family, neighbours and friends.
"When these tragedies occur, the community does pull together and rally around and support the family, friends and neighbours and I don't doubt that that's what will take place again here for the days and weeks and months ahead."
The Air Accident Investigation Unit, the authority for investigating air accidents and serious incidents in Ireland, examined the scene.
It said: "The AAIU has been notified of a fatal accident involving a powered hang glider near Miltown Malbay Co Clare.
"Two Inspectors of Air Accidents are deploying to the scene to conduct a survey of the accident site and an initial technical examination of the powered hang glider."
Police are also carrying out inquiries but are treating it as a tragic accident.
A post mortem will take place before Michael's body is released to his family ahead of his funeral.
