D-Day for Brendan Rodgers as Leicester City owner cranks up pressure for Nottingham Forest clash

Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha is set to be in attendance at the King Power Stadium for the visit of Nottingham Forest on Monday night to cast an eye over manager Brendan Rodgers' side in person.

The Reds visit their East Midlands rivals with both sides propping up the Premier League table but knowing that a second win of the season could lift them out of the relegation zone again. Conversely, defeat could see them slip to the foot of the division and hand their rivals a first league victory in the process.

Amid that wretched run of form, Rodgers remains under a huge amount of pressure despite surviving this international break with his job still intact. Forest will be aiming to inflict further adversity onto their opponents in front of the club's primary decisionmaker.

For Top, it will be his first Foxes match for six weeks since taking in the 2-1 defeat to Southampton last month. Whether that presence will galvanise the group of players or only serve to apply further pressure on them remains to be seen.

Brentford are the only side who have failed to win at the King Power Stadium this season, coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 on the opening day of the season. With the Reds collecting just one point from their first three away matches of the season, a 1-1 draw against Everton, Steve Cooper 's side should be targeting Monday night as a chance to collect a first win on the road.
