The Czech Republic Euro 2024 squad know exactly what they need to do to reach the last 16: win.
After a last-minute defeat to Portugal in their opening Euro 2024 game, Czech Republic only managed a 1-1 draw with Georgia in their second game to pile the pressure on for their final match in Group F.
With Turkey awaiting, things will certainly not be easy for Ivan Hasek's men, either. Their opponents sit two points above them and in second place in the group, meaning it's win or bust for Czech Republic - not even a draw will suffice as one of the best third-placed teams.
Tomas Soucek captains the side, with West Ham team-mate Vladimir Coufal in defence. Bayer Leverkusen duo Adam Hlozek and Patrik Schick are in attack and after their excellent season winning the Bundesliga, there's no reason that they can't lead this side with a few goals. Young defender Martin Vitik is just 21 but one to watch for the future.
However, midfielder Michal Sadilek had to withdraw from the squad before even kicking a ball at the tournament, after suffering an injury while riding his bike.

Ivan Hasek once won 55 caps as a player but he was a surprise pick as Jaroslav Silhavy's replacement, having spent the 15 years since his interim spell as Czech boss in 2009 coaching in the UAE, Qatar and the Lebanon national side, with limited returns.
He's also a qualified lawyer and former FA president, so his man-management nous may help.

Patrik Schick
Patrik Schick didn't play a minute in qualifying, being eased back to fitness in Bayer Leverkusen's stellar season, but the 28-year-old looks lethal after recurring groin injuries blighted the last two years.
Czechs need his one-in-two international record to persist, plus the skill and magic he showed in scoring from halfway against Scotland in 2021.
