Rangers are closing in on their sixth summer signing as the club has agreed on a 'final fee' with Serie A side Cremonese for Cyriel Dessers.
The Nigeria international would become the next player through the door at Ibrox after Abdallah Sima, who's arrival was confirmed earlier this week as he joins on a season-long loan from Brighton.
Keiran Dowell, Dujon Sterling, Jack Butland and Sam Lammers - who also joined from the Italian league - have also been tied down by the Light Blues, with the rebuild beginning to take shape.

It is hoped the two sides can complete the deal before the Gers squad heads to Germany next week for their pre-season training camp.
Rangers have been chasing Dessers since the end of the season and have been frustrated by the price tag slapped on him by Cremonese, who were relegated from Italian top flight this term.

Rangers are understood to have already agreed to personal terms with the Belgium-born forward, and he will travel to Scotland to complete his move to the club.
Michael Beale has been busy in the transfer market this summer as he continues his major squad overhaul in a bid to challenge Celtic for the title next season.
The manager is expected to bid farewell to more players in preparation for the new campaign, having already parted with the likes of Alan McGregor, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos at the close of the season.
