A male cyclist has been hospitalised after being struck by a car in Jobstown.
The incident happened shortly after 5pm this evening when a male cyclist was by a car on N81 in Jobstown, Tallaght. The cyclist, whose age has not been confirmed, was then taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital.
It is understood that his injuries are not life threatening. The N81 was closed earlier due to incident, but it has since reopened to traffic.

A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí were alerted after a male cyclist (age not yet confirmed) was struck by a car on N81 in Jobstown, Tallaght shortly after 5pm this evening, Friday 21st April, 2023.
"He was taken from the scene by ambulance to Tallaght hospital. His injuries are not life threatening."
