A cyclist is in hospital this afternoon with ‘potentially life changing injuries’ following a horror crash at Regent Road roundabout last night.
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that a vehicle collided with an electric bike near the roundabout. Officers say that the vehicle was travelling onto the Regent Road roundabout from Trafford Road, when the crash happened.
The incident happened just before 7pm last night (Friday 28 April). Now, cops are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

“The cyclist suffered potentially life changing injuries and remains in hospital in a serious condition,” a statement from the force said. “The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to assist the police with their enquires.”
No arrests have been made at this stage of the investigation, and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
They also want anyone who witnessed the incident - or have dashcam footage - to contact GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU).
