An investigation has been launched after a cyclist was knocked off his bike by a van on a Paisley road.
The incident on Greenock Road happened at around 4.25pm on Wednesday, September 7. Police say the 40-year-old cyclist 'exchanged words' with the driver of a white van before the van was driven off.
The two then subsequently were in involved in a further incident at a bus stop a short distance further along the road where the van was driven into the bicycle, causing the cyclist to fall onto the road. The van was then driven off in the direction of Paisley town centre.

Police Scotland has now appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Constable Paton said: “The cyclist was uninjured but was narrowly missed by another passing vehicle so this incident could have been far more serious.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and in particular the driver of this passing vehicle, which was red in colour.
“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting 2492 of 7 September, 2022, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
