A 26-year-old cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Swansea. Police were called to Ffordd Cynore, Fforestfach, near the Tesco Petrol Station, at 3pm on Sunday (March 20) after a grey Ford Ecosport and electric bike were involved in a collision.

On Monday morning, South Wales Police said: "The rider of the bike, a 26-year-old man from Fforestfach, was taken to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries. The road was closed for a period of time whilst enquiries were carried out, and we thank the local community and those affected for their patience during this time."

Pictures taken at the scene showed a high police presence and cordons in place. There was also an appeal for any witnesses to the incident to get in touch.
