Supermarket giant Aldi released their highly-anticipated Christmas advert on Thursday night and viewers are sayings they have 'Already won the Christmas advert war'.
'A Christmas Carrot' is a Dickensian-style take on A Christmas Carol and follows the story of the evil 'Ebanana Scrooge'.
Kevin the Carrot then makes an appearance and reminds Ebanana of the joys of the festive season.
The animated story introduces viewers to a medley of fruit and vegetable characters including Marcus Radishford, Tiny Tom, Peas and Goodwill and Kevin’s Dickensian family.
Now, eagle-eyed Aldi shoppers have spotted something in the background of the scenes - and they think it’s “genius”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
In the opening scene of the advert, Cuthbert the Caterpillar can be seen being arrested by two lemon police officers.

The moment makes fun of the ‘Battle of the Caterpillars’, which started earlier this year when Marks and Spencer started legal action against Aldi.
M&S argued that Aldi’s Cuthbert the Caterpillar cake infringes their Colin the Caterpillar’s trademark.
The case was dubbed the ‘Battle of the Caterpillars’ by fans, who were quick to take sides and make memes on social media.
Aldi’s marketing team couldn’t resist getting in on the joke back then in a series of hilarious tweets.
Shoppers who spotted the joke took to Twitter to show their appreciation of the moment saying that Aldi have 'Nailed it'.
One person wrote: “Cuthbert the Caterpillar gets arrested! Genius trolling from Aldi”.
Another said: '''For you to be happy you need to be kind' Ah Aldi you've done it again, love this advert, love Marcus Radishford and poor Cuthbert being arrested."
Aldi’s full 2021 Christmas advert, ‘A Christmas Carrot’, premiered on November 11 on ITV during the centre break of Emmerdale at 7.15pm.
