Cute rescue French Bulldog with 'adventurous spirit' seeking forever home

The Dogs Trust are trying to find a forever home for a cheeky little chappy who is waiting to be showered with love.

Chip, a three-year-old French Bulldog, is in the care of the charity at West Calder, and is eager to try to find a family that is capable of meeting his needs.

Chip could live with older children, aged 16 and over, and is looking for a home where he is the only pet.

His ideal home is understood to be with an owner who spends a considerable amount of time at home and somewhere with a garden to play in.

Those at the Dogs Trust in West Lothian described him as: “This delightful canine companion is in need of a home with adults/children aged 16 or over, where he can be the centre of attention and the recipient of abundant love. Chip's only request is a home without other pets as he wants all that attention for himself.

“This affectionate little fellow adores meeting new people and will joyfully greet anyone he encounters. His greatest desire is to be by your side, showering you with love and companionship. Chip's endearing nature is evident as he happily jumps onto laps for a cosy cuddle when he isn’t rolling around on the floor, exuding pure happiness.

“Chip is an adventurous spirit who revels in hopping in the car for exciting escapades. His favourite destinations are the beach and woodland areas, where he can freely explore and indulge his curious nature. However, when at home, Chip dreams of having his own garden to engage in lively games of tug of war with his owners.

“Aside from playtime, Chip seeks owners who can provide him with ample affection and companionship, preferably someone who is home for most of the day. With his adorable personality and unwavering loyalty, Chip is ready to bring boundless joy to the fortunate family that can offer him the loving home he deserves.”

They add that if you think you could provide a home for Chip or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming at their site, then please contact the West Calder Rehoming Centre on 01506 873459.

The charity have also stated that they will be hosting a chat about rehoming/fostering at their ‘The Long & Short Of It’ event on Sunday June 11 at 12-4pm in their West Calder centre.

Dogs Trust West Calder is currently seeking new foster carers across the whole of the Lothians and Scottish Borders.

If you think you could open your home to a dog in need, then please contact the centre.
