Nottingham Forest fans have reacted to the news that summer signing Giulian Biancone will be out for the rest of the Premier League season after suffering a serious injury in training.
The right-back joined Forest from French side Troyes in the summer as part of a squad overhaul by Steve Cooper following promotion to the Premier League. The 22-year-old cost in the region of £5 million and signed a three-year deal with the club.
Since arriving at the City Ground Biancone has struggled to establish himself in the first team. Since the start of the season he has made four appearances, with just two of those coming in the Premier League.

Over his two league appearances, he has played a total of 16 minutes of football. Other times he has been an unused substitute or on occasion been left out of the squad entirely, which was the case against Arsenal last Sunday.
The defender has now been handed a major blow after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury in training this week. Recovery from ACL injuries generally take around nine months, and if that is the case for Biancone then he will not be back in action until the start of next season.
Speaking ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford, Reds boss Cooper confirmed the news, labelling it as a big blow.
“Unfortunately Giulian picked up a serious knee injury in training which will rule him out until the end of the season”, Cooper said in his press conference.
“It’s really difficult news for him and a blow for us because although he hasn’t featured too much, he was making good progress and is a player we really like.
“We’re gutted for him because it’s a serious one and it’s a blow to the group.”
Following the news, Forest fans took to social media to give their reaction. Here’s what just some had to say.
