Current, former Ravens players grieve over the death of Jaylon Ferguson

The Baltimore Ravens announced the death of outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson on Wednesday morning. The news came as a shock to the NFL world, as Ferguson was just 26 years old and was liked and respected by the Baltimore community and his Ravens teammates.

Ferguson was a third-round selection of the team in the 2019 NFL draft, and would have been suiting up for his fourth professional season. He was working hard to establish himself, apparently showing up for Baltimore’s offseason workouts looking very lean.

Following the news that Ferguson had died, many current and former Ravens players posted on social media to pay their respects and grieve. They expressed their emotions and spoke highly of Ferguson, who many said was a great teammate, friend and father.
