It was reported last week that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady intended to retire, but that was shut down by denials from he and his representatives.
Brady needed more time to decide, they said.
On Tuesday, that decision was officially made and as expected, Brady has decided to step away from the game after 22 years. He ends his career having won seven Super Bowls, five Super Bowl MVPs and three NFL MVP awards.
The entire list of Brady’s accomplishments would be a mile long. He is very legitimately and undeniably the greatest of all-time.
