Cube launch the Flying Circus 240 – the young shredders 'big air' mountain bike

Cube's Flying Circus 240 mountain bike

The flurry of high-specification children's mountain bike releases continues as Cube announces the launch of its new Flying Circus 240, designed specifically for the young shredder with a passion for catching big air and pushing the limits. Cube has joined brands like Prevelo, who recently launched its high-specced Prevelo Zulu mountain bike range and YT Industries which also expanded its kids' MTB range with the new Jeffsy Primus 27. Although some come with an adult price tag, brands seem to have identified a demand for like-for-like spec to filter down from their adult models and to feature in the best mountain bikes for kids.

In the Flying Circus 240, Cube says they have drawn upon their extensive experience in building full-size mountain bikes, like the recently tested Cube Stereo Hybrid 140, and have created what they say is an extraordinary bike that maintains the same level of stiffness, strength, and perfect balance as the adult model. It's built to handle all the rough and tumble that your young riders will throw at it.

Cube also adds that they recognize that airtime brings immense joy to young riders, and the Flying Circus 240 has been meticulously engineered to be a perfectly proportioned jump bike – tough, agile, and built to withstand countless hard landings.

The 240 also boasts a geometry specifically designed to enhance aerial performance, that Cube says will effortlessly absorb the occasional mishap. The 240 is equipped with an RST Snyper 100mm Air Fork and its robust Cube wheels are wrapped in Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tires. Powerful Clarks disc brakes offer reliable stopping power, and with the simplicity of a single-speed setup, it should ensure that young riders can focus on dialing in their style at the local trails or pump track.
