Crystal Palace have sacked Laura Kaminski as manager of their Women’s team.

In a club statement on Friday afternoon, the Eagles revealed that they had parted ways with Kaminski.

Newly-promoted Palace are rooted to the bottom of the WSL table, with one win from their 14 league matches this season.

Chairman Steve Parish said it had been an “extremely difficult decision” to remove her from her post, with Palace saying that an updated would be provided “in due course” as to her successor.

In May, Kaminski won Championship manager of the season at the League Managers Association awards for leading Palace to the second-tier title and, with it, promotion to the WSL for the first time in the club’s history.

The statement of Kaminski’s sacking read: “Crystal Palace Women can confirm that Laura Kaminski has left the club with immediate effect.

“Crystal Palace Women will provide an update on Laura’s replacement in due course.”

Parish said: “This has been an extremely difficult decision for the club to take. Laura has made a fantastic impact since arriving in the summer of 2023, getting the club promoted to the WSL for the first time in its history.

“Laura has given her all, on and off the pitch, and she leaves here with all of our thanks and best wishes for the future.”

Prior to taking the top job at Palace, Kaminski had worked as an assistant manager for Tottenham, Charlton Athletic, Arsenal, Chelsea, Watford, Brighton, Waford and QPR.
