Crystal Palace and Millwall face off this afternoon in a southeast London derby in the FA Cup fifth round.
Only about eight miles separate the two clubs but this is only their second meeting in 12 years thanks in part to the Eagles’ establishing themselves as top-flight stalwarts as the Lions flitted between Championship play-off hopefuls and mid-table dwellers - plus two seasons in League One.

Their last meeting came in 2022, also in the FA Cup, which Palace won 2-1 thanks to first-half goals from Michael Olise, now at Bayern Munich, and Jean-Philippe Mateta, now one of the Premier League’s star strikers.
Palace will be confident of their chances on Saturday having lost just one of their last 10 games against lower-league opposition.
Date, kick-off time and venue
Crystal Palace vs Millwall is scheduled for a 12.15pm GMT kick-off today, Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Crystal Palace vs Millwall prediction
Just like this time last season, Crystal Palace are kicking into gear at the right time and warmed up for this cup tie by knocking four past Aston Villa. Millwall could scarcely have been drawn against Palace at a worse time.
Confidence is high at Selhurst, but Millwall will be relatively hopeful of pulling off a cupset having beaten Championship leaders Leeds in the last round despite slightly concerning performance against relegation fodder Derby last time out.
Crystal Palace to win, 2-0.
