Early Crystal Palace vs Liverpool team news

Liverpool will be without some important players for the trip to Crystal Palace. Thiago Alcantara, Luis Diaz and Calvin Ramsay are all sidelined with their respective injuries.

Ibrahima Konate has returned to training and could be in line for a return. However, Klopp seemed cautious when asked if the centre-back had a chance of featuring at Selhurst Park.

For Palace, they were handed a boost in midweek when Wilfried Zaha and Tyrick Mitchell both trained on Friday. Both players have been sidelined with injury in recent days, but could be in line to feature against Liverpool.

“Both of them trained with the team,” Vieira said on Friday in his pre-match press conference.

“Wilfried is getting better and better. He trained this morning. He had the last training session this morning, but we will have to wait for tomorrow to see the reaction.”
