Crystal Palace vs Everton
19:29Alcaraz is the hero in south London. It wasn’t a pretty win but Moyes’ successful return continues as his Everton move further away from relegation and into up to 13th, above Manchester United and Tottenham. Alcaraz set up the first when he made the most of a poor Mitchell pass and found Beto, who extended his impressive goal-scoring form. Two minutes after the restart it looked like it was going to be a nervy second period with Mateta levelling but Alcaraz then turned goalscorer and sunk Palace with a close-range strike. Palace may feel like they should have got more out of this game with Sarr smashing the bar and they amounted to an xG of 1.52 compared to the Toffees’ 0.76 but it is the away side leaving Selhurst Park with a vital win.

Crystal Palace vs Everton
19:26Mateta finds himself on the wing which isn't ideal from a Palace perspective, but he plucks a cross out and Eze is let down by his touch, which Young sees out for a goal kick. Everton are holding firm.

19:22Everton win a throw-in right in the corner and try to stay there but Harrison's heavy touch concedes a goal kick for Palace, and it allows the home side to put more pressure on Everton.

19:18EZE DRAGS HIS SHOT WIDE! It is nice interplay between him and Sarr, with the former just taking a touch into the box but lacks the precision to test Pickford and it dribbles wide.

19:14In among that goal, O'Brien kept the free-kick alive and it seemed to bounce off Chilwell's hand and Alcaraz was rushing to the referee but he remained focuesed enough to remian in the box and put Everton ahead.

19:10Palace nearly play themselves into trouble again. Gueye hunts down Wharton on the edge of Palace's box and the tackle falls into Beto's path but he opts to cross it and no one was there. Wharton's blushes are saved.

19:06The game has again hit a bit of a slump. It happened in the first half with Everton scoring off it, so they will hope they can find a similar outcome.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
19:04CHILWELL TESTS PICKFORD! The full-back shows his attacking prowess as he races onto a throughball and tries to pass the ball into the far corner. It seems to take Pickford by surprise as he slowly gets down to the shot and can only tip it past the post.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
19:03Richard's pass just skids away from Mateta. It was a lovely guided pass into the Frenchman's path but the bounce sped the ball up and run its way to Pickford.

18:57It will be interesting to see how Chilwell performances while at Palace on loan. It was a painful exit from Chelsea after being exiled, but he excelled as a wing-back under Tuchel for the Blues so lets see if he can refind this form in south London. Staying injury free will be key aswell.

18:49Everton have responded to conceding valiantly. They have ridden the Palace wave and Beto forces Henderson into a scrambling save.

18:47HENDERSON DENIES LINDSTOM! The Dane controls the ball excellently and cuts past Mitchell before trying to tuck his finish into the bottom corner but Henderson gets down low and parries it away.

18:45Palace fans are celebrating again. The goal counts and the game is definitely back on, with Palace having the momentum.

Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:32Both sides have struggled to keep hold of the ball throughout this half, with counter-attacks being the main source of joy for both teams, but if Palace can make the most of the ball they will find more chances. They will be holding onto the ball far more due to Everton's lead and maybe Wharton will be able to tick them over to open the Toffees up.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:31Well Everton have made the most of Palace's mistakes and that is why they are leading. Earlier in the half, Mateta didn't punish Tarkowski's dodgy touch, with Devenny also not able to make the most from Beto's sloppy play. The Eagles would get a chance later on with Sarr smashing a close-range effort onto the crossbar and moments later Everton were ahead. Mitchell threw it straight to Alcaraz, who slotted Beto in and, with the form his is in, cooly struck Everton ahead. Palace may have slightly edged the first-half with an xG of 0.39 compared to Everton's 0.25 but they are behind and have to find a away to dampen Everton's resolute defence.

Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:14SARR RATTLES THE BAR! What a chance and I am not sure how he has done it. Mateta clips the ball into him and from seven yards out he smashes it onto the underside of the bar. That could punish them.

18:11Everton again opt to go long. Pickford claimed a cross well and tells his defenders to get up but it has led to more pressure put on them by Palace who won the ball. Neither side has taken the iniative so far.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:07After a couple of hectic moments in the match, the game has seemed to settle a bit more. That'll will definitely suit Palace more who were feeling it a little bit in the last couple of minutes.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:05Alcaraz tests to see how Henderson is really feeling with a distance from range. His first touch takes him into some space but his whipped shot is guzzled up by Henderson, who doesn't seem to be affected by the blow.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:03Henderson makes a vital interception to flick Lindstrom's cross away from Beto. The Dane latched onto Harrison's lofted pass and side foots a cross into the six-yard box, where Henderson whcks it away with his hand just before Beto could slide in. He has seemed to have taken a knock from Lacroix and come out of the challenge with a bloody nose, but he is carrying on.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:00The disallowed goal has seemed to bring a new confidence out in Everton, who had been pretty poor in the opening 25 minutes.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
18:00Palace deal with Everton's barrage on their defence. That was an intense couple of moments there for the Eagles as Everton just contiuned to fire balls into the box. Four balls were fired into the box with multiple players battling for it. When they thought they got it clear Gueye swept up for Everton but eventually a combination of Richards and Lerma dealt with it.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:54Yep, Lerma had his celebration dashed and VAR have confirmed the misery with the on-field decision standing. It remains 0-0.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:53Lerma has the ball in the back of the net with a neat header, but it has been ruled out for a push. It is going to VAR so there could be a chance, but it seems pretty clear that this goal will get disallowed.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:53PICKFORD SAVES AGAIN! This time he is asking for more from his team. Guehi peels off Branthwaite and directs his header back in the same direction but is denied by his England teammate. Some of the Everton players were calling for a foul but Anthony Taylor wasn't giving anything.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:50This has been a scrappy start to the game. Neither teams has managed to take the game by the scruff of the neck so far. Palace have had the better chances. In fact, they are the only team to have any so far.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:47Everton have a great record against Palace in recent years, but looking at Moyes' run against Glasner that could be at threat. The Austrian boss has come out on top in all three meetings against one another, with two wins against West Ham in the Europa League and last season Palace beat the Hammers in Moyes final year at the club. Which streak will come to an end?
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:44Alcaraz takes a painful tackle from Hughes. The Englishman clatters into him and seems to have come off worst. He is hobbling around with Wharton coming out to warm up.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:41Everton have caused another problem for themselves. This time Beto is weak on the ball and the ball finds its way to Devenny who tries to drill a shot towards goal but again Pickford saves his side. He is normal quite animated after making a save but he seems quite calm after these two stops. He would be in his right to have a moan on this occasion.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:39PICKFORD DENIES MATETA! The Frenchman latches onto Tarkowski's skewed touch and tries to beat Pickford at his near post but the Everton 'keeper bails his defender out with a strong save.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:35Everton have wasted little time with passing the ball around the back. They have sent two long balls over the top of Palace's defence but poor deliveries into the box have let Everton down. Palace's back three could have have some sore heads tomorrow.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:32We are underway at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:32Kick-off is moments away in a miserable-looking south London, hopefully the match can turn make us forget about that!
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:30One play who paid the price for the heated Merseyside Derby was Abdoulaye Dourcoure, his excessive celebrations and scrap with Curtis Jones has seen him suspended for this game. He is one of nine players Moyes is unable to call upon. It has given his bench a rather young feel, but the starting line-up has proven it is about to get the job done, especially Beto in past weeks. The Portuguese international might be having a similar upturn in form that Mateta felt with the introduction of a new manager.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:25It is a year to the day that Oliver Glasner was announced as Palace boss, and the one man who has personified the Austrian's success is Mateta. If he scores today he will level with Christian Benteke as the club's second-top Premier League goalscorer with 35. It is an impressive feat and he has become an absolute fan favourite in the past year. Eze has had a difficult season after a bright previous campaign Devenny given the chance to build on his goal in the Cup midweek.

Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:09I am not sure if Everton have calmed down from that hectic Merseyside Derby! It was an enthralling battle that went all the way to the end, and a bit after, but that 2-2 draw against Liverpool capped off a good start to life under David Moyes. They are unbeaten in their last four league games and have only suffered two defeats under the Scot, one in the cup against Bournemouth and Moyes' first game against Aston Villa. Let's see if they can continue to build on Moyes's dream return.
Crystal Palace vs Everton
17:09At one point in the season, this could have been seen as a relegation battle, but now both teams seem to have settled in the league and come into this game on a high. Palace progressed in the FA Cup, against Doncaster, and on top of that beat Manchester United the week before. They have had a great record against United in recent years... the same cannot be said when they face Everton. Eight games have been played since Palace tasted victory against their opponents today, including two losses where they let their lead slip. Painful.
