Crystal Palace have arranged a pre-season friendly against QPR at Loftus Road one day after their fixture against Leeds in Perth, Australia.
The Eagles are embarking on one of their biggest ever pre-season tours this summer, travelling to Singapore and Australia during the second half of July where they’ll face Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds in friendlies. Patrick Vieira’s side have already drawn 1-1 with Accrington Stanley in their first game of pre-season last weekend and will play Millwall at their Beckenham training ground on Saturday (July 9).
The first team squad will then travel to Kallang, Singapore for their match against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on July 15 before heading down to Melbourne to face United and finally onto Perth for Leeds. But less than 24 hours after their game against the Whites, Palace will be in action back in London at Loftus Road against QPR - 9,000 miles away.

The team that will take the field against Michael Beale’s Championship outfit will be a mix of first-team players who are not travelling to Singapore and Australia alongside players from the club’s academy.
It is not yet known who will be on the sidelines for the game, with Vieira and assistant manager Osian Roberts both expected to be with the majority of the first team abroad. It might be that Under-23 manager Paddy McCarthy is given the reins for the friendly, with several of his players likely to be part of the matchday squad.
