Crystal Palace lineup vs Norwich confirmed as Patrick Vieira makes Odsonne Edouard decision

Patrick Vieira has named his starting XI for Crystal Palace's Premier League visit to Carrow Road to face Norwich.

The Eagles beat League Two side Hartlepool at Selhurst Park on the weekend in the FA Cup but have made four changes to that team, with Vicente Guaita coming back between the sticks to replace Jack Butland.

In front of him, Vieira has been able to name his preferred back four in defence starting with centre-backs Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi, with the latter having scored his third goal of the season when he found the net after four minutes during Saturday's win.

At full-back, Tyrick Mitchell and Joel Ward both return on the left and right flank respectively.

Will Hughes didn't start against Hartlepool but has been restored to the midfield tonight where he'll play alongside Jeffrey Schlupp and Conor Gallagher.

James McArthur is on the bench meanwhile, taking his place in his first matchday squad since playing against Wolves in the first week of November.

In attack, Wilfried Zaha makes his first appearance for the club in 2022 having missed most of January at the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.

The winger looks set to play on the left-wing, with Michael Olise keeping his spot on the right after scoring one and setting another up last time out.

Up front, Vieira has decided to keep faith in Jean-Philippe Mateta. The French striker scored against Norwich in the reverse fixture in December and signed a permanent four-and-a-half-year contract on transfer deadline day.

Odsonne Edouard is on the bench for the second game running alongside Christian Benteke and Eberechi Eze.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Mitchell, Andersen, Guehi, Ward, Hughes, Schlupp, Gallagher, Zaha, Mateta, Olise.

Bench: Butland, Clyne, Tomkins, McArthur, Milivojevic, Eze, Edouard, Benteke, Ayew.
