Crystal Palace fixtures for Premier League 2024-25 season: Derbies galore in testing start

Crystal Palace have arguably never before entered a new Premier League season with such optimism, heading into their opening game away at Brentford potentially still riding the wave of last season’s run-in.

Six wins and a draw from their final seven games saw them secure a top-half finish in the Premier League for just the second time, and equal their record points tally of 49. Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze, Jean-Philippe Mateta and January signing Adam Wharton all key to a remarkable turnaround under manager Oliver Glasner.

It remains to be seen if those four are still at the club come the opening round, with Olise and Eze linked with moves to the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.

It is a tough start for Glasner and Palace, who face West Ham, Chelsea and Manchester United in the opening weeks of the season, the campaign kicking off with three London derbies. They face champions Manchester City at home on December 7.

The first derby with Brighton comes at the Amex on December 14, with the return at Selhurst Park on April 5.

The traditional festive period will see Palace head to Bournemouth on Boxing Day, with the season concluding away at Liverpool.
