Jewel of the Seas made her debut in spring 2004. Measuring 90,090 tons and carrying a maximum of 2,700-plus passengers, it was the fourth and final limb on Royal Caribbean's Radiance-class family tree.
It has joined a long list of other ships that have docked in Liverpool over the last weeks, including The Regal Princess, The Britannia and Costa Favolosa. While in May, Liverpool was surprised with a visit from The Queen Mary 2.
The cruise liner departed from Southampton on May 2 and arrived in Liverpool on May 3. The special Coronation celebration voyage was announced at the last minute, with people being able to bag five nights on the vessel from £499 per person.
