Cruise lines are taking precautionary measures in response to Hurricane Beryl's impact on the Caribbean region. Carnival Cruise Line announced changes to the itineraries of two of its active cruises, Carnival Horizon and Carnival Liberty.
Carnival Horizon, originally set to visit Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on July 3, has canceled the stop and will now visit Nassau, Bahamas on July 5 instead of Cozumel, Mexico. Carnival Liberty has adjusted its schedule to reach Cozumel earlier to avoid the hurricane's projected path.
The safety of guests and crew is the top priority for Carnival Cruise Line. The company is closely monitoring forecasts and collaborating with the National Hurricane Center, U.S. Coast Guard, and local port authorities to provide timely updates to passengers.
Norwegian Cruise Line has also made changes to the routes of Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Breakaway. Visits to Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Belize, Cozumel, and Costa Maya in Mexico have been canceled to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
