Crowds cheered as King Charles and the Prince of Wales arrived at New Palace Yard ahead of the removal of the Queen’s coffin from Westminster Hall.
Charles and William arrived in one vehicle, while the Duke of Sussex and Peter Phillips emerged from the car behind.
The 123-year-old gun carriage on which the Queen’s coffin will be towed has been pulled into New Palace Yard by 98 Royal Navy sailors.
William was dressed in blue military garb and appeared solemn as the convoy of vehicles drove past hordes of mourners.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex looked sombre as she travelled down the Mall with a police escort towards the Queen’s funeral.
The Duke and Duchess were seen being driven in a Range Rover from Wellington Arch, down Constitution Hill and on The Mall towards St James’ Palace.
It came as the brothers put on a show of unity this week as they stood together at either end of the Queen’s coffin for a vigil on Saturday night.
They were joined by cousins Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Lady Louise Windsor and her brother Viscount Severn.
Harry, who saw action on the front line during two tours of duty in Afghanistan, had previously been told he would have to wear a morning suit as he is no longer a working royal and has been stripped of any honorary military appointments.
However, his father, King Charles, granted permission for his son to wear his old uniform at the vigil inside the Palace of Westminster as a show of respect and unity to the late Queen.
