A murder investigation has been launched after a young man was stabbed to death in north London.
Police found the 23-year-old injured on Albert Road, Stroud Green between Crouch End and Finsbury Park around 10.43pm on Thursday.
Officers attended along with paramedics and a crew from London’s Air Ambulance.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene in Haringey.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
“A post-mortem examination will take place in the coming days. There have been no arrests.”
Homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation. A crime scene remains in place.
Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, local policing commander for north London, said: “My thoughts are with this young man’s family who will going through the most unimaginably difficult time. We will do all we can to get justice for them.
“A dedicated team of detectives are dealing with a murder investigation and a cordon is in place while forensic examinations are carried out. CCTV and house-to-house enquiries are also under way.

“We know such a tragic incident will also have an impact on the local community and officers will be on patrol throughout the day to offer reassurance and to speak to anyone who may have information or who feels concerned.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called yesterday, January 4, at 10:40pm to reports of an incident on Albert Road, Hornsey.
“We sent some resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, an ambulance crew, and a medic in a fast-response car. We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man, but sadly, despite the team’s best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
