The Jubilee weekend is just around the corner but if you haven’t yet made plans, and wish you had, there is still time to buy tickets to some of London’s best festivals.

Cross The Tracks is a one day jazz, funk and soul festival for all ages, taking place in South London. As well as an absolutely packed line-up, including Khruangbin, Joy Crookes and Sampa The Great, there will be a creative market, workshops, a craft beer fair and more than 40 street food stalls covering cuisine from around the world.

And, unbelievably, there are still tickets on sale. So if this sounds like your jam, there’s still the opportunity to book your slot for a feel-good Sunday. Here’s everything else you need to know about the festival.

When and where is Cross The Tracks 2022?

The festival is taking place this Sunday (June 5). It’s open from midday and will run until 10pm, but last entry is at 8pm. It’s going to be held outdoors in Brockwell Park, which is tucked in right between Brixton and Herne Hill.

Who’s on the Cross The Tracks line-up?

Cross The Tracks has an absolutely massive line-up if you are a jazz, funk and soul fan. It’s headlined by Houston music trio Khruangbin, British singer-songwriter Joy Crookes, rapper Sampa The Great, American songwriter and rapper Mereba and American R&B and soul singer Macy Gray.

Then there’s also going to be music from Roy Ayers, Norman Jay MBE, Channel One, Jamz Supernova, Alexander Nut, Romare Live and Etta Bond.

And if that wasn’t enough, attendees can also look forward to seeing Seun Kuti, Olivia Dean, Joyce Wrice, Priya Ragu, Sam Wills and Charlotte Dos Santos.

Then, to top it all off, you can see KeiyaA, Tamera, Conor Albert, Lynda Dawn, Gotts Street Park, Balimaya Project, edbl, Sophie Faith, Sans Soucis, Rachel Chinoriri, Jalen N’Gonda, Perry Luis, Lovescene, Marie Dahlstrom, Kai Kwasi and Tamzene. It’s going to be an absolute scorcher.

What else is going on?

But that’s not all. There will be yoga, talks and workshops taking place throughout the day. There will also be a market of handpicked retailers – so if your idea of a great Sunday is trawling through independent stalls, you can do this at Cross The Tracks festival, while listening to your favourite music.

How much are Cross The Tracks tickets?

Although it’s pretty late in the day, there are still quite a few ticket options on sale: The 6th release general admission is £59.50 plus a £5.95 booking fee. There are group ticket options (four people) which are currently going for £200.00 plus a £20.00 booking fee.

Then there’s a VIP option, which gives you fast track entry, nice toilets, a bespoke bar, seating and special food concessions. This is £90.00 plus a £9.00 booking fee. If you want a ticket just for the morning, there is a pre 2:30pm option for £49.50 plus a £4.95 booking fee.

And finally, for children aged 10-17, it’s £19.50 plus a £1.95 booking fee. Under 10-year-olds go free.

How should I travel to Cross The Tracks?

Organisers of the event have been actively encouraging festival-goers not to drive – partly to be more eco-friendly, but partly because there will be no parking set aside for the attendees – so it is likely to be mayhem in a car.

Instead, there are lots of transport links very nearby. The nearest Tube is Brixton Station, which is just a 10-minute walk. Then, the nearest National Rail is at Herne Hill, which is an even closer 5-minute walk. There are tonnes of buses around the area, such as the 3, 37, 196 and 2, which all go from Brixton station if you don’t fancy the walk.
