Critics Choice Awards: Abbott Elementary, Better Call Saul, Gaslit lead nominations

Abbott Elementary has led the Critics Choice Awards television contenders with six nods, followed by Better Call Saul with five nominations.

There is Australian representation in three categories: Milly Alcock is nominated for best supporting actress in a drama series for her role as young Rhaenyra in House of the Dragon; Murray Bartlett, who played Nick De Noia in Welcome to Chippendales, is nominated for best supporting actor in a limited series or movie made for television; and Bluey is nominated for best animated series.

The Good Fight had a strong amount of nominations in the drama category but could face tough competition from House of the Dragon, which saw three nominations in the section.
