Cristiano Ronaldo has reclaimed his position at the top of football's rich list, with his move to Al-Nassr bagging the six-time Ballon D'Or winner a reported £175 million per year.
The 37-year-old remains one of the most marketable faces in the sport and his commercial partnerships elevate his position globally among football's elite. In October, it was revealed that the then Manchester United striker had slipped down the list of the sport's top earners, being overtaken by Kylian Mbappe according to Forbes.
However, he has reclaimed top spot with his salary comfortably topping that of his rivals at the top of the game.
Voetbal Travel have analysed the salaries of over 33,000 active players from over 200 countries with the goal out the highest paid players in the game. Ronaldo tops the list, which does not account for players' sponsorship deals, beating Kylian Mbappe (£64m) into second and Brazil's Neymar (£42.1m) into third.

Long-time rival Lionel Messi is one of the most recognisable people on the planet, but despite this he is just fourth in the list with annual earnings of £34.8m. Despite the Premier League being comfortably the richest league in the world, Kevin De Bryune is the highest player based in England on the list in fifth with earnings of £20.8m.
Man United goalkeeper David De Gea and City striker Erling Haaland are level in the list in joint sixth with annual salaries of £19.5m. Meanwhile, David Alaba (£18.8m), Mohamed Salah (£18.2m) and Raheem Sterling (£16.9m) complete the list as the world of football top earners.
