Cristiano Ronaldo is now the outright top scorer of goals at home in the Premier League this season.
The Manchester United ace was on the scoresheet once again on Monday night as his side beat Brentford 3-0 in their final home game of the season. Ronaldo scored from the spot to take his league tally up to 18, putting him just behind Mohamed Salah (22) and Son Heung-min (19) in the goalscoring chart.
Ronaldo’s latest goal continued his hot streak at Old Trafford, with the 37-year-old having scored eight times in his last four home appearances in the Premier League. That run has seen him take his tally at home to 14 for the season, putting him one ahead of his nearest rival.

The Portuguese star’s penalty against Brentford saw him move ahead of Son when it comes to the most Premier League goals at home this season. He now sits one ahead of the Tottenham forward, with Salah further back on 11 while his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane sits on 10.
With United playing their final home game of the season on Monday, Ronaldo won’t have the chance to add to his tally, meaning he could be overtaken by his rivals before the end of the season. Son still has two home games in which to overhaul the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s tally, with Salah and Mane also getting two more opportunities at Anfield this season.
Nevertheless, it’s an impressive record for Ronaldo, who will be looking to move further up the Premier League goalscoring chart during United’s final two games of the season. United travel to Brighton in their penultimate fixture on Saturday, before ending the season at Crystal Palace on May 22.
Most Premier League goals at home in 2021/22
Cristiano Ronaldo - 14
Son Heung-min - 13
Mohamed Salah - 11
Sadio Mane - 10
Kevin De Bruyne - 9
