NFL icon Tom Brady enjoyed a chat with fellow sporting great Cristiano Ronaldo after Manchester United ’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham.
The Portuguese legend scored a hat-trick to propel the Red Devils to a vital win for their top-four hopes in front of a raucous Old Trafford crowd.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion was in attendance at Old Trafford to watch his fellow sporting legend produce his best Premier League performance since returning last summer.
Before the match began, Brady, 44, posted a photo to social media of his view from the crowd.
He wrote: “Here we go! @Cristiano vs. @HKane. I might fist pump if you score Harry but I’m riding with @ManUtd today.”
Once the match concluded, the former New York Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star was seen chatting with Ronaldo on the pitch.
The American also posed for photos with some other members of the United squad.
Brady took to Instagram and shared a snap of the pair conversing with one another, and added: “LEGEND @Cristiano.”
Ronaldo took to his own account and shared a photo with Brady along with the caption: "Always a pleasure and a privilege to share some thoughts and ideas with another GOAT…"
Ronaldo opened the scoring with a sensational strike from outside the box inside 12 minutes.
After an Alex Telles handball, Harry Kane brought Tottenham level from the penalty spot.
Just three minutes later, Ronaldo was on the scoresheet once again and restored his side’s lead after steering in Jadon Sancho’s low cross.
In the second half, Harry Maguire, who endured a torrid time against Manchester City last weekend, turned the ball into his own net and Spurs were level once again.
But as he so often does, Ronaldo delivered when it mattered most as he headed in his third goal of the game ten minutes from time, which won the game for his team.

The Euro 2016 winner notched his first Premier League hat-trick in 14 years and helped United rebound from the humbling 4-1 defeat to their local rivals Manchester City last time out.
The Red Devils are currently in fourth place, but have played four more games than Arsenal in fifth.
"Tremendously happy with my first hat-trick since I came back to Old Trafford!" the forward wrote on Instagram after the game.
"Nothing beats the feeling of being back on the pitch and helping the team with goals and effort.
"We've proven once again that we can beat any team in any given day, as long as we work hard and stand together as one.

This latest victory will boost United's confidence ahead of a crucial Champions League second-leg tie at home to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
